Introduction
Welcome to MyBader! These Community Guidelines are designed to ensure that our platform remains a safe, respectful, and inclusive space for all users. MyBader is a community-based platform designed specifically for members of certain communities and requires administrative approval to access all features.
By using MyBader, you agree to follow these guidelines and help us maintain a positive community. Users of any age may register on the platform, including children as young as 1 year old (with parental consent for minors).
These guidelines are in accordance with Indian laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Indian Penal Code, 1860, and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in content removal, account restrictions, or termination of your account.
1. Respect and Inclusivity
MyBader is committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels welcome and respected, regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.
- Be Kind and Courteous: Treat others with respect and consideration. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
- No Hate Speech: Do not post content that promotes, encourages, or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on attributes such as race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, religious affiliation, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or disease.
- No Harassment or Bullying: Do not engage in targeted harassment, threats, intimidation, or bullying of individuals or groups. This includes repeatedly contacting someone who has expressed a desire not to be contacted.
- Respect Cultural Sensitivities: India is a diverse country with various cultures, religions, and traditions. Be mindful and respectful of cultural sensitivities when posting content.
2. Safety and Security
We prioritize the safety and security of our users and the broader community.
- No Violence and Criminal Behavior: Do not promote, encourage, or glorify violence, criminal activities, terrorism, or dangerous organizations.
- No Threats: Do not threaten to harm individuals, groups, public figures, or private entities.
- No Dangerous Activities: Do not post content that promotes or encourages self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, or other dangerous activities that may lead to physical harm.
- No Dangerous Organizations: Do not use MyBader to promote or represent terrorist organizations, organized hate groups, or criminal organizations.
- National Security and Public Order: Do not post content that threatens the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign states, or public order.
3. Authentic Identity and Content
Authenticity is the foundation of trust within our community.
- Authentic Identity: Use your authentic identity on MyBader. Do not impersonate others or create fake accounts.
- No Misinformation: Do not post false or misleading information, especially content that may cause public harm, such as health misinformation or election misinformation.
- No Spam: Do not engage in spamming, phishing, or other deceptive practices. This includes creating multiple accounts, posting repetitive content, or artificially boosting engagement.
- No Manipulated Media: Do not post manipulated media (deepfakes, etc.) that are intended to mislead or deceive users, especially if they attribute false statements to individuals or misrepresent events.
- No Fake Engagement: Do not use bots, fake accounts, or other means to artificially increase likes, followers, or engagement.
4. Appropriate Content
We strive to maintain a platform that is suitable for a diverse audience while respecting freedom of expression within legal boundaries.
- No Adult Content: Do not post sexually explicit or pornographic content, including nudity, sexual acts, or sexually suggestive poses.
- No Obscenity: Do not post obscene, vulgar, or profane content that would be considered offensive by community standards.
- No Graphic Violence: Do not post excessively violent or gory content, including content that glorifies or celebrates suffering.
- No Illegal Activities: Do not post content that promotes, facilitates, or encourages illegal activities, including but not limited to drug use, gambling (where prohibited), or sale of regulated goods.
- Content Harmful to Minors: Do not post content that is harmful to minors or exploits minors in any way.
5. Protection of Minors
We are committed to protecting minors on our platform. While users of any age may register (with parental consent for minors), we take extra precautions to ensure their safety:
- No Exploitation of Minors: Do not post content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors. This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or content that depicts or promotes the sexual exploitation of children.
- Age-Appropriate Content: Content featuring minors must be appropriate and non-sexualized.
- No Harmful Interactions: Do not engage in harmful interactions with minors, including solicitation, grooming, or any form of exploitation.
- Reporting Obligation: If you encounter content that exploits or endangers minors, report it immediately.
- Parental Controls: Parents or guardians of minor users should actively monitor their children's activities on the platform.
- Administrative Oversight: All users, especially minors, require administrative approval for full access to platform features.
6. Privacy and Consent
Respect the privacy and personal boundaries of others.
- No Sharing Private Information: Do not share someone's private information without their consent, including personal identification documents, financial information, contact information, or precise location.
- Consent for Sharing: Obtain consent before posting photos, videos, or information about others, especially in private settings.
- No Doxxing: Do not engage in doxxing (revealing someone's private information with malicious intent).
- No Non-Consensual Intimate Images: Do not share intimate or sexually explicit images or videos of someone without their consent (revenge porn).
- Respect Boundaries: Respect when others ask you to stop tagging them, contacting them, or otherwise engaging with them.
7. Intellectual Property
Respect the intellectual property rights of others.
- No Copyright Infringement: Do not post content that infringes on someone else's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.
- Attribution: Give proper credit when sharing others' content, and respect their terms of use.
- No Unauthorized Streaming: Do not stream or share content from paid services, broadcasts, or events without proper authorization.
- Respect Creative Works: Do not claim others' creative works as your own.
8. Commercial Activities
MyBader supports legitimate business activities while protecting users from scams and deceptive practices.
- Transparent Commercial Content: Clearly disclose when content is commercial or sponsored.
- No Scams or Fraud: Do not engage in scams, fraudulent schemes, or deceptive business practices.
- No Unauthorized Advertising: Do not post excessive unsolicited commercial content or spam.
- No Pyramid Schemes: Do not promote pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing recruitment, or get-rich-quick schemes.
- Regulated Goods and Services: Comply with all applicable laws when promoting regulated goods or services.
9. Platform Integrity
Help us maintain the integrity and security of the MyBader platform.
- No Hacking or Malware: Do not attempt to hack, breach security measures, or distribute malware or viruses.
- No Scraping or Data Mining: Do not scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from MyBader without explicit permission.
- No Interference: Do not interfere with the proper functioning of MyBader or attempt to overload our systems.
- No Circumvention: Do not attempt to circumvent our content moderation systems or other platform protections.
- Report Bugs Responsibly: If you discover a security vulnerability, report it to us responsibly rather than exploiting it.
10. Compliance with Indian Laws
As an India-based platform, MyBader and its users must comply with all applicable Indian laws.
- Information Technology Act: Comply with the provisions of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and its associated rules.
- Indian Penal Code: Do not post content that would constitute an offense under the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
- Defamation: Do not post defamatory content that harms someone's reputation without legitimate justification.
- Contempt of Court: Do not post content that constitutes contempt of court or interferes with judicial proceedings.
- Election Laws: During election periods, comply with all applicable election laws and the Model Code of Conduct issued by the Election Commission of India.
- Other Applicable Laws: Comply with all other applicable laws, including but not limited to laws relating to obscenity, sedition, religious harmony, and protection of women and children.
11. Content Moderation and Enforcement
We enforce these guidelines through a combination of automated systems and human review.
- Reporting: If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it. We review reports to determine if content violates our guidelines.
- Administrative Approval: All users require administrative approval for full access to platform features. This helps us ensure that users are legitimate members of our intended communities.

Enforcement Actions: Depending on the severity and
frequency of violations, enforcement actions may include:
- Content removal
- Warnings
- Feature restrictions
- Temporary suspension
- Permanent account termination
- Legal Compliance: In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we will remove content within 36 hours upon receiving a court order or notification from an appropriate government agency about unlawful content.
- Context Matters: We consider context when evaluating reported content, including cultural context, educational or documentary value, and artistic expression.
12. Appeals Process
If you believe your content was removed in error or that your account was wrongfully penalized, you may appeal the decision by contacting our Grievance Officer at support@mybader.in or calling +91 7259706621.
Your appeal should include:
- Your username and contact information
- Description of the content that was removed or the action taken against your account
- Explanation of why you believe the decision was incorrect
- Any relevant context or additional information
In accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, our Grievance Officer will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days from its receipt.
13. How to Block and Report
MyBader provides tools to help you manage your experience and report content or users that violate our guidelines:
Blocking a User
To block a user from contacting you or viewing your content:
- Navigate to the user's profile by tapping on their username or profile picture
- Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner of their profile
- Select "Block User" from the menu
- Confirm your decision when prompted
When you block someone:
- They cannot see your posts or profile
- They cannot send you messages or interact with your content
- You will not receive notifications about their activity
- Previous interactions with the blocked user will be hidden from your view
You can manage your blocked users list in your account settings under "Privacy" → "Blocked Users".
Reporting Content
To report a post, comment, or message that violates our guidelines:
- Tap the three dots (⋮) next to the content
- Select "Report" from the menu
- Choose the reason for reporting (e.g., harassment, hate speech, misinformation)
- Provide additional details if prompted
- Submit your report
Reporting a User Profile
To report a user for violating our guidelines:
- Navigate to the user's profile
- Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner
- Select "Report User" from the menu
- Choose the reason for reporting
- Provide additional details if prompted
- Submit your report
What Happens After You Report
After submitting a report:
- Our moderation team will review your report within 24 hours
- You may be contacted for additional information if needed
- If the report is validated, appropriate action will be taken against the content or user
- You will receive a notification about the outcome of your report
14. Changes to Guidelines
These guidelines may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in laws, social norms, or platform features. We will notify users of significant changes through the app and our website.
By continuing to use MyBader after changes to these guidelines, you agree to be bound by the updated guidelines.
